Burns Lunch – Thursday 23rd January 2025

Our Probus Club will be celebrating Robert (Rabbie) Burns, the National Poet of Scotland, at a Burns Lunch being held at the Crowborough Rugby Club starting at 12.30, with proceedings starting at 1pm.  On arrival a Professional Piper will welcome you. 

The lunch will be Haggis, Neaps and Tatties, followed by Cranachan.  There will be a vegetarian option.  And as one would expect on such an occasion, we will have the address to the Haggis!   As to dress code, Scottish dress would be very welcome but is purely optional.  During the event, a prize will be awarded to the best Scottish attire.  So, gentlemen, please dust off that sporran if you have one!     Lastly the Raffle will continue the Scottish theme.

So, we do hope you will come along and enjoy our Burns Lunch.  What better way to shake off those January Blues! This event is open to Probus members, partners and friends.  But please book as soon as possible, as places are limited, price £34.
