The Tangmere Military Aviation Museum is located on the former site of RAF Tangmere, West Sussex. Which was an operational RAF station until the 60's.
The museum was opened in June 1982. Many aerospace exhibits covering the First World War to the Cold War are on display including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and aircraft engines.

The Address for the museum is;
Tangmere Military Aviation Museum, Game Cock Terrace, Tangmere, Chichester, PO20 2ES.
Advice for drivers; at first sight the obvious route is the A27.
My personal preference is to join the A272 at Uckfield and leave the A272 at Petworth. Then join the A285 and drive south towards Chichester. Tangmere is East of Chichester and south of the A27. I will reverse the route to return.
