You are again cordially invited to our Probus Club’s Winter Lunch with a difference – at the Wok Inn, a lovely restaurant just outside Halland. This lunch is different because the restaurant we are using for this year’s Winter Lunch serves Chinese food which naturally is reflected well in the attached menu. The charge for the meal will be just £25.00 and the price includes four courses, and tea or coffee to finish. The portions are appropriately sized and a very pleasant and satisfying meal should be the result!
To find the restaurant, just follow the A26 travelling south, continue past Uckfield, and through Halland – mind the speed camera! – and at the next roundabout turn right, around the roundabout, and the Wok Inn will be found on your left-hand side about a mile further along the B2192 Lewes Road. Parking is easy – either in their private carpark or in the adjacent lay-by. We will be eating in a private room equipped with 6 large round tables. The bar will be open on arrival for the purchase of drinks, soft or alcoholic.
The event will start at 12.30 with the lunch itself starting at 1.00 pm. The menu for the meal is attached, and payment and meal selection can be performed via our website or by making your selections on the attached form and returning it with your cheque by the 19th of February. Please also indicate if you have spare seats in your car, need help with transport, and if you have any diet needs and/or any food allergies)..
